“The Sports Business & Entrepreneurship degree was a great catalyst for my creativity, enabling me to convert my ideas into real businesses whilst gaining valuable connections, input and insights.”
— Sam Jukes, SBE Alumni & founder of Cacto Drinks

So what does it actually look like?
In the first few weeks, you’ll form a team company of up to 20 students. Your team company will run its own training sessions, with support from an experienced team coach. You’ll also have access to mentors and other business professionals from Bristol City Football Club, Bristol Bears Rugby and Bristol Flyers Basketball, as well as the wider Bristol Sport Group and external businesses. Workshops and personal development sessions will help you further develop your ideas and potential.
Your team coach will support and guide you and your team company through the duration of the course. But this is not about sitting in lectures and passively learning. At every stage you will be empowered to set your own focus and direction. Your learning will come through workshops, learning sets, training sessions and entrepreneurial activities, embedded with academic elements. When you need more specialist guidance, your team coach will help you find suitable sources.
“To work and study in a professional environment with the support of industry experts has massively helped my development.”
— Liz Lewis, SBE Team Entrepreneur
